📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage

*Primary immunodeficiency:* BY IV INJ OR IV INF: First dosage: 400mg/Kg (body weight); Maintenance dosage: 200-400mg/Kg (body weight) interval time of administration depends on patients condition and serum lgG level, once a month is recommended. *Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP):* BY IV INJ OR IV INF: 400mg/kg (body weight)/day for 5 days. Maintenance dosage: 400mg/kg (body weight) as a single infucion, inerval time of administration depends on patients condition and platelet count, count, once a week is recommended. *Servere Infections:* BY IV INJ OR IV INF: 200-400mg/kg (body weight)/day for 2 to 3 days. *Kawasaki syndrome:* BY IV INJ OR IV INF: In 10 days of the course of Kawasaki syndrome, 2.0g/kg (body weight) may be given a single infusion.

💊 Mode of Administration

Should be administered intravenously or infused after it is diluted 1-2 times with 5% dextrose injection. For the first infusion, the initial rate should be at 1.0ml/minute (about 20 drops/minute), if there is no adverse reaction for the first 15 minutes, the infusion rate can be increased, however, the rate should not exceed 3.0ml/minute (about 60 drops/minute).

⛔ Contraindications

Anaphylactic or severe systemic response to immune globulin or any records of other severe allergic reactions, selective lgA deficiencies, anti-lgA antibody.

⚠️ Precautions & Warnings

History of typical reactions to blood or blood products, risk factors for thrombotic events or acute renal failure. Monitor for adverse reactions and anaphylactoid reactions during infusion. These reactions are often related to the infusion rate and individual difference. Reactions are often mild and occur in one hour after the infusion, it is recommended that general conditions and vital signs of the patients should be monitored periodically during the course of the infusion, the infusion should be slowed down or interrupted it necessary

🔄 Drug Interactions

Hydantoins; e.g. Phenytoin, Virus vaccines, Live/measles, mumps, rubella vaccines, inactivated vaccines e.g. DPI, Hib, OPV, rabies vaccine, immunosuppressants.

⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects

Injection site reactions, headache, palpitation, and nausea diarrhoea, chills, fever, dizziness, arthralgia, myalgia, allergic reactions, anaphylactic reactions.Rare: hypotension and thromboembolic events.
