📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
*Endometriosis:*
Adult: 200-800 mg daily in up to 4 divided doses usually for 3-6 months, adjusted to achieve amenorrhoea, in women of child-bearing potential, treatment should start during menstruation, preferably on day 1.
*Severe pain and tenderness in benign fibrocystic breast disease not responding to other treatment:*
Adult: 300 mg daily in divided doses usually for3-6 months, in women of child-bearing potential, treatment should start during menstruation, preferably on day 1.
*Hereditary angioedema:*
Adult: Initially 100-200 mg daily, reduced according to response, in women of child-bearing potential, treatment should start during menstruation, preferably on day 1.
⛔ Contraindications
Porphyria, thromboembolic disease, undiagnosed genital bleeding, androgen dependent tumours.
⚠️ Precautions & Warnings
Severe hepatic, cardiac and renal dysfunction, epilepsy, migraine, diabetes, susceptibility to weight gain, elderly, history of thrombosis or
thromboembolic disease, hypertension, lipoprotein disorder, polycythaemia
🔄 Drug Interactions
Oral contraceptives, anticoagulants, carbamazepine, cyclosporin.
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
Nausea, dizziness, rashes, back ache, flushing, muscle spasm, androgenic effects, weight gain, fluid retention, headache, emotional lability, cholestatic jaundice, benign intracranial hypertension.

Pregnancy Risk:
Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Lactation / Breastfeeding:
Contraindicated, avoid
