📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
*Mydriatic and cycloplegic for refraction:*
Adults & Children: 1 or 2 drops of either strength at 1-5 min intervals. If patient not examined within 30 min an additional drop should be used.
*Funduscopy:*
Adult: 1% eye drops to be applied 20 minutes before examination.
Children: 0.5% eye drops to be applied 20 minutes before examination.
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
Raised intra-ocular pressure, local irritation, hyperaemia, oedema, conjunctivitis; after prolonged use, transient stinging, dry mouth, blurred vision, photophobia, tachycardia, headache, psychotic reactions (rare)
