📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
*Dyspepsia, Non-ulcer dyspepsia, bloating, early satiety, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, heartburn, nausea and vomiting, anorexia:*
Adults: 50 mg three times daily.
Children: Not recommended.
⛔ Contraindications
Parkinsons disease, GI haemorrhage, mechanical obstruction or perforation or in conditions where increase in GI motility will be harmful.
⚠️ Precautions & Warnings
Itopride enhances the action of acetylcholine and may produce cholinergic effects.
🔄 Drug Interactions
Anticholinergic, increased saliva, nausea, dizziness, headache, tremor.
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
Thrombocytopenia, leucopenia, diarrhoea, constipation, increased saliva, redness, dizziness, headache, tremor.
