📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
*Symptomatic relief of allergy such as hay fever, urticaria, Pruritus:*
Adult & Children above 12 yrs: 4 mg 3 times a day, usual dose 4-20 mg daily; max. 32 mg per day.
Children 6-12yr: 4 mg 2 times a day; max. 16 mg per day.
⚠️ Precautions & Warnings
Prostatic hypertrophy, pyloroduodenal obstruction, susceptibility to angle-closure glaucoma or increased intra-occular pressure, epilepsy, urinary retention, history of brochial asthma, hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, elderly
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
Headache, blurred vision, drowsiness, dry mouth, GI disturbances, psychomotor impairment, urinary retention, antimuscarinic effects, hypotension, palpitation, photosensitivity reactions, rashes, sleep disturbances, tremor. Rare: Anaphylaxis, angioedema, angle-closure glaucoma, liver dysfunction, arrhythmias, blood disorders, bronchospasm, confusion, convulsions, depression, dizziness, extrapyramidal effects
