📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
Prophylaxis of asthma:
Adult& Children above 15 yrs: 10 mg once daily in theevening
Children 6 months-5 yrs: 4 mg once daily in the evening; 6-14 yrs: 5 mg once daily inthe evening
Symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis in patientswith asthma:
Adult& Children above 15 yrs: 10 mg once daily in theevening
⚠️ Precautions & Warnings
Do not substitute abruptly for inhaled or oral steroid therapy, not for use for relief of acute symptoms. Discontinue if symptoms of Churg-Strauss syndrome appear. Phenyl ketonuria with chewable tablet (contain aspartame).
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
Abdominal pain, aggressive behavior, agitation, anxiety, headache, hyperkinesia, thirst, depression, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, epistaxis, irritability, malaise, muscle cramps, hyperactivity, restlessness, sleep disturbances, palpitation, tremor. Rare: Anaphylaxis, angioedema, seizure, elevated ALT/AST, Churg-Strauss syndrome (Discontinue)
