📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
*Threadworm infections:*
Adult& Children above 6 months: 100 mg for 1 dose, if reinfection occurs, second dose may be needed after 2 weeks.
*Whipworm infections, Hookworm infections:*
Adult & Children above 1 year: 100 mg twice daily for 3 days.
*Roundworm infections*
Adult & Children above 1 year: 100 mg twice daily for 3 days, alternatively500 mg for 1 dose (not for children below 2 yrs).
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
Abdominal pain, diarrhoea, flatulence, rash. Rare: Alopecia, convulsions, dizziness, hepatitis, neutropenia, Stevens- Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, urticaria
