📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
*Amoebic dysentery:*
Adults: 2000 mg as a single dose.
Children: 30 mg/kg body-weight. as a single dose.
*Hepatic amoebiasis:*
Adults: 1500 mg daily in one or more doses for 5 days.
Children: 30 mg/kg body-weight.daily in one or more doses for 5 days.
*Trichomoniasis:*
Adults: 2000 mg as a single dose. Sexual partner should be given same dose.
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
GI disturbance, furred tongue, unpleasant taste, flatulence, abdominal pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, dry mouth, thirst, asthenia, fever, pain, allergic reaction, pelvic pain, back pain, chills, rash
