📋 Indications & Clinical Dosage
*GI disorders associated with motility disturbances such as gastro-oesophageal refluxdisease, non-ulcer dyspepsia and delayed gastric emptying:*
Adults: 1 mg three times daily before meals.
Children: Not recommended.
⛔ Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to drug.
⚠️ Precautions & Warnings
To be used with caution to elderly because it enhances the action of acetylcholine, patients with GI hemorrhage, mechanical GI obstruction or perforation, a history of dyskinesia induced by neuroleptics.
🔄 Drug Interactions
Atropine, drugs that enhance the effect of medicines used for the illness of CNS and for insomnia, digoxin.
⚠️ Adverse Reactions / Side Effects
Angioedema, gynacomastia, drowsiness, confusion, extrapyramidal effects, diarrhoea, sedation, cutaneous reactions.
